great stay overall, but some room for improvement

The check-in process was seamless as we found all the information we needed in advance. The ambiance of the restaurant was quite inviting, making our meals enjoyable. Additionally, the lodge offers various outdoor activities that kept our family entertained throughout our stay. I also appreciated the early morning fishing opportunities, which added a touch of adventure to our trip.

The late check-in policy felt a bit inconvenient since we had to wait until 3:00 PM, which limited our time on the property.

Cozy place for families

Our family loved it! The room was spotless and comfy. Only thing was the late check-in—had to wait till 3:00 PM. The restaurant had some tasty bites, too. Perfect chill spot for a weekend getaway.

The rustic lodge atmosphere hits you the moment you arrive, giving that old Florida fish camp vibe. Enjoyed great live music by the river while munching on tasty bites from the food truck, and the fishing opportunities looked promising with a weigh-in station for those big catches.

Had to shell out extra for the boat ramp despite already paying for the stay, which felt a bit off. Struggled with a cable outage on the last night, and internet connectivity was spotty, making it frustrating to stay connected. They enforce a strict 3:00 PM check-in, which meant waiting around if you arrived early, along with some confusion regarding facility usage fees.

Right next door, Rosie’s food truck served some really tasty breakfast options, which was a great way to start the day. I appreciated how easy it was to launch my boat directly from my room. The staff at Gator Mack's bar were exceptionally helpful and happy to share local tips. However, I did find the check-in process somewhat inconvenient. I had to wait until 3:00 PM, which cut into our fishing time. Plus, I encountered a few problems with the internet connectivity during my stay, making it tough to plan our next activities. There wasn't any room cleaning service throughout my visit as well, which I found unexpected for the stay duration.

We were very satisfied with our stay. The pool was refreshing after a day of fishing, and the cozy restaurant had great food. We also loved hanging out near the riverfront, enjoying live music while watching the sunset.

It was a commendable fit for a brief pit stop in Lake Wales with great value for money. The staff were friendly and really helpful when I needed assistance with directions around the area. Just remember to ask before you check in about any extra fees for amenities, as they can add up quickly.

We really enjoyed our stay, especially the super clean room and the easy access to the boat ramp for our fishing adventures. Winding down at the pool and checking out some live music by the river made for such a relaxing time! Just a heads up, the check-in time was a bit strict, so plan around that, but overall, it was fantastic! 😊

our stay at camp mack lodge, marina & rv resort was great! the room was super clean and cozy. we loved the inviting atmosphere of the restaurant and sports bar, where we enjoyed delicious meals. it's also conveniently located next to kissimmi state park, perfect for outdoor activities.
